Waters of Mars was easily the best of last year specials and showed how Doctor Who works well, with a small group of people in one location, and an alien running amok. (Midnight or Horror of Fang Rock anybody?)

Top notch episode, which can proudly stand alone, no need to shudder at what came next.

Hey, I love your site. It seems most people don't really bother writing articles that lack substance nowadays.

Ayup me owd mucker! Good article, agree with most of it (though I did like the rompy Easter Special, and you forgot to mention Turn Left as one of the best conceived stories of recent Who) but skim-read the first half since it seemed mostly like recap. This sounds more like criticism than compliment, but you must consider it positive feedback.

So, are you as eagerly awaiting The End of Time as I am? Suitably final sounding title for Russell T Davies if you ask me!
